Downlink Control Information (DCI) is used to transport downlink control information for one or more cells with one radio network transportation identifier (RNTI) to the PDCCH physical channel.

Resource Allocation

Allocated Slots

Controls the allocated slot index for DCI transmission.

Sets the allocated slot index for the channel. Allocated Slots are entered as an array of slot indexes allocated for the PUCCH. There are three ways to configure:

These three configuration methods can be used in combination, by using ',' as the delimiter, e.g. 0,1,4:7,8:2:19 means index 0,1,4,5,6,7,8,10,12,14,16,18.

If the slot allocation is different for different frame, use '{ }' and '|' to specify the frame index, for example, {0|0,1,2},{1|3,4,5} means slot 0,1,2 for frame 0, and slot 3,4,5 for frame 1. Ensure the Number of Radio Frames under Waveform Setup node is large enough.

The range of slot index is from 0 to the number of slots in the frame of the current numerology - 1.

The to number of slots in the frame is coupled with the numerology used by this channel, which is defined in the selected BWP and refer to the Frame Structure table for the details about the relationship between number of slots in the frame and numerology.

CCE Offset

Automatically sets the CCE offset indicating to where DCI starts.

The range is based on the selected CORESET settings. For UE-specific search space and if RNTI is not 0, the CCE Offset is different for each slot with each value corresponding to one slot. If Candidate Index is set to -1, you can input CCE Offset manually, but only one value is accepted.

C-RNTI for Scrambling

Controls the C-RNTI for a PDCCH in a UE-specific search space. When the pdcch-DMRS-ScramblingID is configured (Not -1) it is used for scrambling. When it is out-of-scope(invisible) then 0 will be used for scrambling.

DL-SCH Couplings

Set which DL-SCH is coupled with current DCI.

If DCI is coupled with a DL-SCH, after any changes on the DL-SCH side, scheduling information will be automatically filled into the DCI field, RNTI, allocated slots and BWP selection are also coupled with DL-SCH.
